Do you want the ability to control or at least predict the future with great accuracy and get qualified answers when asking »What-if«?

Basically simulation is imitation or reproduction in a system (our solutions) of the functions and processes of another system (your laundry). Simulation answers What-if-questions, such as:

• What if we replaced three of the washer extractors with a CBW?

• What if we got the hospital contract?

• What if we had an extra ironer line?

or all the way to the ultimate question:

• What if we built a new laundry?

Concrete answers

Simulation gives very specific answers as to what the consequences are for the production in very different situations. So concrete answers that you can see your laundry produce, minute-by-minute, under the alternative circumstances.

Laundry Simulator

Laundry Simulator is based on the laundry’s own particulars and figures for:

• capacities

• process speeds

• consumption and emissions, and

• costs.

And it is calibrated with reality before beginning to test alternatives and/or optimise – we come as close to reality as possible.

Simulation gives you a direct, concrete and objective basis for decisions on many of the major questions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible to find the answers to. Simulation is safe ground in uncertain situations. Simulation is also training and insight by testing:

• new solutions

• new processes or machines

• new customers

• more staff

• new ways of working

• new batch sequences

– and see their impact on the bottom line before they become reality. Simulation is to get to know the laundry and its opportunities, and train its managers in making the right decisions.

Optimisation is perfection, finding the best solution under the given conditions. Answers to questions, such as:

• How should we select batches and send them into production in the morning?

• How are we to man the workstations, when we can not man all of them all the time?

• How do we plan tomorrow when one of the ironer lines is down for repair?

• And much more..

The answers are so concrete that you can give them to your planners and say, ”Line up the batches and run them through the production this way in the morning, and this way in the afternoon”.
